Your NoVA Neighbor provides small household assistance and general help with everyday tasks. Services do not include licensed electrical, plumbing, structural, or other specialized contractor work.
If a task requires a licensed professional, you may choose to hire one directly or use a trusted partner if available.

Pay What You Want Model

Services operate under a Pay What You Want model. There are no set prices. After the work is complete, you may contribute an amount you feel is fair and manageable.
Contributions are voluntary and help sustain the continued operation of the business.

Scheduling and Availability

Services are offered based on availability. Scheduling priority may be determined by factors such as location, scope of work, timing, and overall business sustainability.

Right to Decline or Discontinue Service

Your NoVA Neighbor reserves the right to decline, reschedule, or discontinue services at any time.

This includes situations involving:

• Unsafe working conditions
• Inappropriate or disrespectful behavior
• Tasks outside the scope of services
• Repeated cancellations or scheduling issues
• Any circumstance that makes the service impractical or unsustainable

The goal is always to operate safely, respectfully, and sustainably for everyone involved.

Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to provide a safe working environment and accurate information about the tasks requested.

Limitation of Liability

While reasonable care is taken when performing tasks, Your NoVA Neighbor is not liable for pre-existing damage, normal wear and tear, or indirect or incidental damages.

Clients are responsible for identifying fragile, valuable, or sensitive items prior to service.

Payment Methods

Contributions may be made by cash, check, or card. Card payments are processed through Stripe.

Refunds

Refunds, if applicable, are handled according to the published Refund Policy.

Changes to Terms

These Terms of Service may be updated from time to time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of any updates.
